Overview

East Cooper Music was started in the Fall, 2010 in Mount Pleasant SC by Mike, Lauren, Bob, and Barbara Williams. The Williams’, all with music degrees perform regularly in the Charleston area and see how important music education and quality music services are in the Mt. Pleasant / Charleston area. We provide Music Lessons, a Rental Instrument Program, and Accessories in our store to provide students in everything they need to get a quality education in music.

Music School

To provide a quality music program, our faculty of music instructors are comprised of professionally trained musicians from the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Ensembles, Pop Music groups and more. Read more on our faculty. Private Lessons, Classes, and Recitals are provided for all students. Special master classes will also be given for special topics relating to music theory, arranging, audition preparations, and more by our faculty.

In-Store & Online Music Shop for Band and Orchestra

We intend on providing the area with quality accessories and instruments that the students and music directors can be proud of. Educator approved instruments will be available through our Rental program. We make it easy to find exactly what you are looking for with our Online Music Shop (coming soon).

Recital Opportunities

Students taking guitar, piano, violin, cello, etc have the opportunity to perform on stage with others at the end of Spring and Fall semesters. Summer music camps / group classes are offered. Gig opportunities are provided for intermediate and advanced students.
